Chirp, Hop, Peck or Walk

Chick George was last week's school topic for Abe.  It included all our books about chickens, painting, glueing, puzzles (I thought the puzzle had a chick but it was a duck!) a science experiment, observations of George and our nesting pigeons.  Lastly Abe learned six facts while focusing on the letter C.

1. God made all the birds.
2. Birds have beaks, wings, and feet.
3. Birds' wings are made of feathers.
4. George is a baby chicken and he does not have feathers yet.
5. Birds fly.
6. Birds build nests.

Here are some photos of our week of pre-school.  Observations included Zana!

George has full run of the house,
he needs it to escape his most faithful fan!

On a side note for all those interested.  George made it through the weekend unscathed.  However he was banned to his box all weekend so was dirtier than usual.  I gave him yet another bath.  After the re-dettoling (antiseptic soap again) "she" looked like "she" was ready to pass away.  Jane was certain he was breathing his last but thankfully she rose from her pathetic Legs Up Stance in the sun.  Her phoenix was glorious indeed.  The life drama of chicken little continues!
