Chick George

I love George.  We are unsure if our new chick is a male or female but Abe dubbed him George.

George loves me.  I give him water and food so he patters after me all over the house.  He has been stepped on numerous times and picked up even more by my zealous girlie who likes to kiss him.  He may die of the loving she gives too generously.

Yesterday he was lying belly up on the tiny verandah.  Not dead, thankfully, rather sunbathing.  The little chick (Chad and I both use the pronoun she for George.) is adding a lot of life to our already exciting life.

We leave tomorrow morning for an adventure and will be back on Monday.  Not a long time in the scheme of things but perhaps we will come back to no George.  Our friends will watch the little guy and my hope is that she'll be alive when we return.

Our chicks in Dubai died after I washed them.
    I have never tried again.
    I hate pets.
So glad you are letting your kids have the adventure.
Have a great trip where ever you are going.
    Love you.
