My landlord's daughter's wedding was magnificent complete with armed guards (with spears) guarding the entry way. I looked splendid. I only lost my son once. My daughter wore a tu-tu for a four year old (it fit her) and won the hearts of all present. Here are a few good.... and not so good photos. The instant we were admitted behind the Raja Guards, Chad and I were split up to women and men sections. Chad had the camera and a lonely soul so he took very few pictures. The guards are the blurry mess in the first photo.
I so wish you could see the huge crowns on the guards' heads!
The groom is sitting in the center of this photo.
Can you find him?
Here are three clues.
One: His face is not visible.
Two: His body is not visible.
Three: On HIS left is a little boy.
I watched him (the groom in the flower veil to his ankles)
arrive on a flat screen TV that was awful big in the ladies tent!
Looking lovely. No kids because midnight
was fast approaching when we finally got home and they
both conked out in the car!
Here I am feeling lovely in orange and green.
Hmmmm?!?!?
Latest fashion so I'm told.
Borrowed a sari from a friend in the city who is a size zero.
Thankful saris are a one size fits all.
Every once and awhile this life of great adventure I live feels a little glamorous and glitzy.
This night was one of those moments.
Someone even complimented my Hindi....while I was speaking to them in English.
Guess every night can't be COMPLETELY perfect.
ps. the bride wore red but her make up wasn't on yet at eleven so I couldn't take a photo.
