Summer draws to a close. I am not positive it will end soon. In fact instead I believe it will get scorching hot soon. Perhaps I am wrong but for now I refuse to think on snow and things cold. Though I do wonder where all the shoes sandals give birth to boots. In case you think all I did is sleep through the warm days of summer here are a few photos to give you a small glimpse into our solstice.
It seemed bikes defined our son's summer. Helmets, bikes and scooters.
After praying for a bike we found a cheap one at a thrift store with Disney Princesses dancing across the bar. With the catty wampus training wheels our three year old took off and learned to bike alone. When one training wheel snapped off, Hubster snapped the other one off and Abe took off down the drive on two wheels. He favors his bike over all other means of transportation though I do not think he would turn down a ride in a fire truck.
We were not hiding under a bridge all summer.
Rather we were in the water living it up.
Goodness. I love your children. And you :)
