Number One: Parks.
Number Two: Electricity all the time. All the time.
Water we can drink.
Food in the stores. (I keep buying too many salsas)
Number Three: Lakes. Wide open clean space with no one in sight even though we are within city lines! What is this?
Number Four: A yard. Grass we call our own.
Weeds we call our own.
A little play house Zana calls her own and
Abe calls his own and
war ensues
until they both convene on the roof for a
pacifist powwow.
Number Five: Whipped cream in a can.
Need I say more?
Number Six: Do you see my dirty kitchen in the background?
Do you see the natural light.
Quite a time with no windows, now I have three!
The very thought makes Abe sing for joy....
or maybe it is the whipped cream?
Number Seven: Did I mention the lake?
Number Eight: Corn.
Number Nine: My garden at the end of our yard with sugar snap peas ripe for the picking?
Nothing like sending your kids outside to pick their own snack!
Number Ten: The Local Public Museum. We hang out there every Wednesday. Usually not in the ancient fire place. That is just for photos.
I LOVE that I took most of these pics :) Miss you. Lots of love. Lydia and I are planning on going to fellowship together tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteAgree with #1. We loved the parks, state and national and camping… love being outdoors in weather that was bearable with no one staring… unless of course I gave them a good reason!!!! Whatever you do, whether you eat or drink, do it all to the glory of God. Praise God for his very good and gracious gifts! Love you! m
