First Days.....

Nothing like a snow storm to change your plans.  One hit Minnesota the day before we arrived.  Hard.  We came from ACs, heat and swimming pools in our last days in India to winter coats, winter boots, hats and cold.

We did not know who would meet us at the airport.
We did not know how the four of us punch drunk travelers were going to get from point A to point B. We hoped point B included a shower and bed.

My siblings met us at the airport with just the right amount of energy, love and care.  They had a plan.  They communicated clearly.  They held our hands, and our kid's hands and welcomed us "home."  They had little gift bags which thrilled the kids, and us too.  They kept jetlag at bay and loved on us.  What a great arrival.  They even had the good grace to ignore our bad breathe and stinky clothes.  What perfect manners, or perhaps understanding graciousness!

These photos are from a good 8 days after our actual arrival due to the nature of our jetlag we did not photograph well in the first week of arrival.
