These women I met about six years ago in Syria. They showed me hospitality though I was a stranger to them. Are you praying for Syrians? Take a moment and pray with me. I believe in all the conflict, pain and horror there can be peace. I believe in a God big enough to change the current nightmare into something different not only for individuals but for entire groups of people. Pray that in the darkness, despair, and murkiness peace will come, perhaps not how we expect but in a beautiful banquet of glory. Pray for Syria today.
About raising my kids to chew chaat, not paan. Drink chai not cappuccinos, and live with both feet in three worlds.
