Zana, as you of course by now have realized, marches to the beat of her own drum. Unlike our Playmobile Nativity (which the kids can play with under supervision) their Little People Nativity gets daily play. All day long. The Wise Men come from afar, the living room, to the stable, kids room. Baby Jesus nestles in Abe's pocket all day. The angels get twirled around as both kids dance to and belt out "Angels We have Heard on High."
This nifty difty Nativity has a stable that plays the music for Away in the Manger. This box like structure fits like a puzzle piece into the dip of Zana's shoulder. She pushes the star, hefts it up and walks up and down the house with a little strut to her step and her brother winter jammie bottoms sagging down around her knees.
Sometimes TCKs can be a little behind their home culture but this takes the cake. My girl should have been born in the age of Pretty in Pink and The Breakfast Club. She is a Boom Box Babe blaring her favorite carol.
