Cordial the Medicinal Kind

Abe's pain needed a little medicating to aid sleep so he was instructed to drink up his Tylenol.  He seldom gets the medicine and instructed that I needed to take his temperature first.

As he drank he spoke,  "It is like Jesus iz blood."
In a little bit of shock I asked, "What does Jesus' blood do?
His reply, "Takes away our sin."

Sweet quote from yesterday.

On a funny note we rented Les Miserable for our weekend watching.  About three seconds into the "movie" my husband jumped like he had been bitten by a bee.  Thumping the space bar he paused the movie.

"Are they going to sing the whole movie?"

"Yes.  It is Les Miserables, like we saw in  London."

"It is a MUSICAL?"  he asked in disbelief.

"Yes."  By this time I am laughing so hard I have to go to the bathroom, his face was a mask of sorrow and affront.

"This is NOT a movie.  This is a musical.  I did not know I this was not a movie.  Are they really going to sing.  You did not tell me this was a musical and not a movie."

We watched about a minute more when he thumped pause again and asked for a translation.  He could not understand a word.

Needless to say I am watching the end alone.
