Just to break into my meanderings about Lucknow....
George passed away.
He has been looking poorly lately.
He survived two baths and was healthy but he was getting pretty gross and dirty.
He got another rinse off and died.
Kind of sad but thankfully we have friends staying from Bangladesh with two little kids and they are acting as a great diversion for the sorrow felt.
No more George photos.
Maybe a pet in our situation is not going to work.
Oh well.
ps. We did not eat George (in case my title was misleading). We threw him off the balcony in the derelict lot across the way where the young men play cards after dark (gamble and sometimes drink). It is called conscience littering. Trash goes in predetermined areas and then people come and sweep the trash up. George could not be buried, we have to land, so tossed he was.
