I cannot tell you the hassle it has been to vote this year. I cannot tell you the amount of time Hubster spent on emails, online research, scanning, and mailing information. I can tell you with pride that I voted. I will never forget a documentary about the first elections after Saddam Hussein demise. I will never forget the looks on people's eyes as they held up their dyed fingers, denoting they had voted, with unadulterated glee. I will never forget the pride and extra height radiating from women voting for the first time ever.
I am proud to vote. I am proud to be part of America. I am thankful for the right to vote, the responsibility to vote and the gift it is to be able to vote.
I am thankful mostly though, as I watch the world changing, that my citizenship is not here on earth but in heaven.
