When I was ten years old I entered into a new world as a fifth grader going to boarding school for the first time while my parents moved to a city a thousand miles away. My wonderful father who had taught me the discipline of reading each morning from the Word of Life encouraged me to get through the whole Bible that year alone. That started a yearly tradition of reading God's word through each year for the next many years.
A little over a year and a half ago my little son was born and morning time, sweet with the fragrance of meeting with my Heavenly Father became a time fragrant with my little guy's poopy diaper. He still is a morning pooper and still is an early riser. It made the Psalms particularly sweet during that season and thoughts of getting through the entire Bible in a year sound like some impossible dream. However, I feel like a new woman with my little girl entering her fourth month of life and my little guy growing bigger each day.
So with that said and one minute on the clock I am doing a new reading plan which puts me this month in First Peter where Chosen stuck out today. I am chosen and that my friends gives me hope for TODAY!
Stand firm in the TRUTH of who you are and what you have become through Christ.
